Description
The VanCool 150L Slim fits 135 L of refrigeration and 15 L of freezer space at -18 °C into a width of 41 cm. Designed to replace a Thetford N41xx or a Dometic 10.5: 45 W, 35 dB.

The Slim favours refrigeration in a narrow recess. If your recess is 52 cm wide, the VanCool 140L and the VanCool 170L offer a larger freezer (28 and 58 L). Same width, but smaller: the VanCool 90L RCN.

Q: Does the fridge run on 230V?
A: Not directly: it is powered by 12V or 24V. On mains power (campsite, home), connect it via the 230V-12V adapter.
Q: Can it replace my old fridge?
A: It is designed to replace the Thetford N41xx and Dometic 10.5, as well as other Dometic, Vitrifrigo and Thetford fridges of similar dimensions. Check that the recess can take 149 × 41 × 56 cm. It connects directly to 12V, with no gas.
Q: How much does it draw from the battery?
A: 45 W on average. Actual consumption depends on the outside temperature, the recess ventilation and how often the door is opened.
Q: Is manual defrosting a hassle?
A: Periodic defrosting is required: empty the fridge, unplug it, let it thaw, wipe it dry and plug it back in.
Q: Is the fridge approved for use in vehicles?
A: Yes, it has ECE R10 approval (electromagnetic compatibility), and its certificate is accepted throughout Europe.
