Description
40 × 40 cm rooflight, the most common cut-out size on campervans. UV-resistant double-glazed acrylic approved to ECE R43, magnetic blind and fly screen, available in four versions depending on LED and ventilation.
Choosing the right size
Cut-out: 40 × 40 cm. Compatible roof thickness: 28 to 75 mm. Height above the roof: 12 cm. Weight: 3 kg. The interior frame extends beyond the cut-out: allow up to 13 cm more in width and 11 cm in height. Before cutting, check that no reinforcement, cable or conduit runs through the location.

Advantages of the STYLE 40 × 40 rooflight
- Standard 40 × 40 cm cut-out: the reference size in conversion layouts.
- Installation without an adaptation frame: on flat roofs as well as corrugated sheet metal, whose corrugations are filled with butyl.
- UV-resistant double-glazed acrylic: transparent, approved to ECE R43.
- Magnetic blind and fly screen: they can be removed and refitted in a single movement.
- 100 cm² permanent ventilation: a constant airflow against condensation on equipped versions, certificate supplied for type approval.
- 12 V LED lighting: on the versions with LED.
- Opens to 50°: for generous ventilation.
Choosing the right model
Choose the LED version if you want to light the living area from the rooflight, and permanent ventilation for type approval or if you regularly sleep in the vehicle.

Q: Is it road-approved?
A: Yes, it is approved to ECE R43. The version with permanent ventilation comes with its certificate, which is useful for your vehicle's type approval.
Q: How is it installed?
A: With Sikaflex-552 AT, on its own or as part of the Sikaflex pack for rooflights. On corrugated sheet metal, the corrugations are filled with SikaLastomer-831E: no adaptation frame is needed.
Q: What is permanent ventilation for?
A: It lets air circulate continuously with the rooflight closed: a constant airflow that limits humidity, condensation and mould.
Q: How much ceiling space should I allow?
A: The interior frame extends beyond the cut-out: allow up to 13 cm more in width and 11 cm in height.

This is my second lantern but this one was delivered damaged in transit. After several emails I’m still waiting for a satisfactory resolution but I haven’t heard anything from vanlife as to what is happening

Excellent produit mais ce n'est pas un dometic, la photo est trompeuse, regarder bien sûr votre lanterneau la marque, par contre si c'est pour une pose libre, il est top...
Moi c'était pour remplacer un dometic et la photo m'a fait tromper, bien sûr vanlife me l'a repris mais avec 19€ de frais de port.
Le lanterneau est bien.
Mais l'éclairage led et trop faible, ça n'a pas d'interet.
C’était mal parti, le lanterneau était perforé , à travers le carton.
Mais j’ai apprécié la réaction du vendeur, qui a réussi à me faire parvenir une autre pièce dans un temps rapide.
Je recommande donc le professionnalisme de ce vendeur. Je me devais de le signaler. Cordialement
