🧩 Choosing the right kit
Two important points when choosing the right kit:
-
Battery capacity : affects how long you can remain self-sufficient.
-
230V-12V inverter capacity: determined by the power requirements of the 230V appliances (which do not run on 12V, such as microwaves, hair dryers, etc.) you want to use.
- If your appliance consumes, for example, 800W (information shown on the product label), you should select an inverter that can provide 1.25-1.5x this power (therefore between 800W * 1.25-1.5 = 1000-1200W)
1️⃣ Your autonomy (LiFePO4 Lithium battery)
- 100 Ah — basic use: 12V cooler, lighting, USB charging, weekends
- 200 Ah — regular use: several days of autonomy, several accessories used simultaneously (including small 230V accessories)
- 314 Ah — extended use: full-time van living and prolonged use of 230V accessories
2️⃣ 230V (mains outlets), depending on your appliances
- Without 230V — Without 230V — fridge, USB and 12V are enough for you (you can always add an inverter later)
- 600 W — laptop and small low-power appliances
- 1000 W — a small 230V appliance such as a mini oven or microwave
- 1500 W — a high-power appliance such as a kettle (~1,200 W) (314 Ah battery minimum recommended)
- 2000 W — several appliances at the same time (coffee maker + microwave…) (314 Ah battery minimum recommended)
The inverter includes a 20A AC/DC charger and an automatic bypass: when connected to mains power (campsite, 230V parking outlet), it powers your appliances AND recharges the battery, with no manual intervention.

⁉️ Frequently asked questions
Any other questions? Contact our technical team.
Q: Which battery should I choose?
A: 100 Ah for weekends, 200 Ah for regular use over several days and a small inverter, 314 Ah for full-time van living and/or a high-capacity inverter.
Q: Do I need 230V?
A: Only if you use mains appliances (coffee maker, microwave, induction hob…). Otherwise, choose “Without 12V-230V inverter” — you can add an inverter later.
Q: What is the automatic bypass?
A: When connected to mains power (campsite, 230V parking outlet), the inverter powers your 230V appliances and recharges the battery simultaneously, automatically. No manual intervention and no risk of error.
Q: Need more than 2,000 W (induction hob, air conditioner)?
A: Contact our team for a custom quote with a higher-capacity inverter.
Q: Is it compatible with a VASP registration document?
A: Yes. All components are ECE R10-certified and comply with VASP requirements in France.
