Full description

The VANPOWER SMART kit brings together all the electrics for a converted van, with connected features: a LiFePO4 lithium battery, Victron components and switches you can control from your phone. Everything is pre-sized and supplied with a detailed wiring diagram.

1. Your battery

Battery	Usage
100 Ah	Weekends and light use: 12V coolbox, lighting, USB
200 Ah	Regular use: several days of autonomy, small 230V appliances
314 Ah	Living in your van all year round and extended use of 230V

2. Your 230V inverter

230V	Which appliances
No 230V	A fridge, USB and 12V are enough for you (can be added later)
600 W	Laptop, small appliances
1000 W	Mini oven or microwave
1500 W	Kettle or high-power appliance (314 Ah battery recommended)
2000 W	Several appliances at the same time (314 Ah battery recommended)
2500 W	High simultaneous power consumption (with the 314 Ah battery)

Tip: check the power rating of your most power-hungry 230V appliance (on its label) and multiply it by 1.25 to 1.5. An 800 W appliance requires a 1000 to 1200 W inverter.

Q: Which battery should I choose?
A: 100 Ah for weekends, 200 Ah for several days of autonomy, 314 Ah for living in your van all year round or using a powerful inverter.

Q: Do I need 230V?
A: Only for appliances that run from mains power (coffee machine, microwave…). Otherwise, choose “No 230V”: you can add an inverter later.

Q: What is not included?
A: The cables (cross-sections indicated on the diagram), crimping pliers and solar panels.

Q: Need more than 2500 W (induction hob, air conditioner)?
A: Contact us for a custom kit.
