Description
The VanCool 50L DCR offers 40 L of refrigeration and 10 L of freezer space for 13 kg. Dual zone, automatic defrost, 25 W on average and 35 dB in Night mode.

Among the 50 L models, the DCR is the only one with dual zone and automatic defrost; the VanCool 50L BCD and the VanCool 50L SVR have manual defrost. Its door is reversible.

Q: Does the fridge run on 230V?
A: Not directly: it is powered by 12V or 24V. On mains power (campsite, home), connect it via the 230V-12V adapter.
Q: Which 50 L model should I choose?
A: The DCR for dual zone and automatic defrost, the VanCool 50L BCD for an aluminium front, the VanCool 50L SVR to choose the opening direction when ordering (Left or Right version).
Q: How much does it draw from the battery?
A: 25 W on average, 65 W at most: the compressor runs in cycles. Actual consumption depends on the outside temperature, the recess ventilation and how often the door is opened.
Q: Will the fridge fit in my recess?
A: Check that the recess can take 52 × 38 × 51 cm (H × W × D), leaving space for ventilation. It connects directly to 12V: ideal for replacing a 3-way fridge.
Q: Is the fridge approved for use in vehicles?
A: Yes, it has ECE R10 approval (electromagnetic compatibility), and its certificate is accepted throughout Europe.
