Full description
The VanCool 40L is a compact 12V compressor fridge for campervans and vans. It fits small recesses and can be installed in narrow spaces.
Important note: the compressor can be detached from the fridge and installed within a 1 m radius without any additional wiring.
Simple wiring (wired connection) to a 12V or 24V circuit — or to a 230V circuit with a voltage converter.
Removable aluminium built-in frame in 56 × 44 or 51 × 39 cm.
Compressor with a 2-year warranty.
💡 Good to know: the compressor technology in 12V fridges is the best option for a converted vehicle.

Compatibility and dimensions
This fridge suits a first installation just as well as replacing an existing fridge, including a three-way gas fridge, whatever the brand.

- Ventilation: 2 cm of free air behind and at the sides of the condenser
Your recess must measure at least the dimensions of the fridge. If it is larger, the gap is taken up during fitting with a trim strip or a finishing plinth. Measure before ordering: if in doubt, send us your measurements and we will confirm.

Q: How much power does it use?
A: 25 W on average, 40 W at peak. Actual consumption depends on the outside heat, the ventilation of the recess and how often the door is opened.
Q: Is the door reversible?
A: No: hinges on the right, opening to the left.
