VanCool 105L DCR – 12/24V Compression Fridge (81x47x53 cm)

The VanCool 105L DCR offers 83 L of refrigeration and 22 L of freezer space in a height of 81 cm. Dual zone, with automatic defrost on the fridge side, it is designed to replace a Thetford T2090 or a Dometic 110 CRX.

Choosing the right model

The 105L DCR comes as a dual-zone model (DA): fridge and freezer are set separately. At the same height (81 cm), the VanCool 80L DCR is shallower (45 cm). For a taller, narrower recess, see the VanCool 90L DCS or the VanCool 90L RCN.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Does the fridge run on 230V?
A: Not directly: it is powered by 12V or 24V. On mains power (campsite, home), connect it via the 230V-12V adapter.

Q: Can it replace my old fridge?
A: It is designed to replace the Thetford T2090, Dometic 110 CRX, Dometic MDC 90 and Vitrifrigo C95L CHR. The key point is that the recess can take 81 × 47 × 53 cm. It connects directly to 12V, with no gas: ideal for replacing a 3-way fridge.

Q: How much does it draw from the battery?
A: 25 W on average (70 W while the compressor is running). Allow for a battery of at least 100 Ah, ideally 200 Ah if other equipment is connected to it.

Q: Can it be controlled via Wi-Fi or an app?
A: No. Settings are made on the front LED control panel.

Q: Is the fridge approved for use in vehicles?
A: Yes, it has ECE R10 approval (electromagnetic compatibility), and its certificate is accepted throughout Europe.
