Details and specifications
Full description
The SQUARE SLIDE sliding window has square corners and dark-tinted double glazing, an aluminium frame and a central lock, and is ECE R43 approved. It fits walls from 30 to 55 mm thick. Delivered complete: blackout blind, fly screen and aluminium mounting frame included.
Choosing the right size
The selector shows the interior dimension, i.e. the cut-out to make in the wall.
Maximum recommended cut-out dimensions by van (in mm)
| Van | Side walls | Rear doors | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Max. height | Max. width | Max. height | Max. width | |
| L1H1 | 400 | 700 | 350 | 500 |
| L2H2 | 520 | 970 | 450 or 520* | 500 |
| L3H3 / L4H3 | 550 | 1100 | 450 or 520* | 500 |
* 450 mm on Master, Movano, NV400; 520 mm on Ducato, Jumper, Boxer, Sprinter, Crafter.
These values correspond to what the vehicle allows: SQUARE SLIDE is available up to 1200 × 500.
Reinforcements vary depending on the year and model: mark out the cut-out on your wall and check that no reinforcement, cable or conduit passes through it. If in doubt, send us a photo and we will confirm.
The outer frame extends 3 cm along each axis (overall dimensions: W + 3 cm × H + 3 cm).
💡 Good to know: the interior finishing frame is surface-mounted on the wall. It covers the edges of the cut-out without requiring any additional space.
Privacy: the dark-tinted glazing (30% light transmission) keeps the interior shielded from prying eyes without making it dark.
Double glazing: two UV-resistant acrylic panels that provide much better insulation than single glazing. The interior stays cooler in summer, warmer in winter, and condensation is reduced.
- Ventilation without taking up space: the glazing slides within the frame instead of opening outwards, and locks securely with the central lock.
- A complete window: blackout blind, fly screen, inner frame and fixings are included. No accessories to order separately.
- A sturdy structure: a reinforced aluminium inner frame braces it against the wall, whether curved (van) or flat (Motorhome, caravan).
- Easy installation: the step-by-step installation tutorial guides you from marking out the cut-out to final tightening. Allow around 1 hour.
- Approved and durable: ECE R43 approval, 2-year warranty and spare parts available for 5 years.

Why choose the SQUARE SLIDE sliding window?
The look of the square corners: clean, straight lines that complement the flat sides of vans and modern interiors.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is it compatible with curved panel van walls?
A: Yes. The reinforced aluminium inner frame adapts equally well to curved walls (vans) and flat walls (Motorhomes, caravans). Any slight gap on a curved wall is filled with Sikaflex.
Q: Is it approved for road use?
A: Yes, ECE R43: installation is authorised without the manufacturer's approval in Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. It complies with roadworthiness inspections and VASP requirements.
Q: Can I replace an existing window?
A: Yes, if the existing cut-out matches one of our dimensions. Measure the cut-out in the wall, not the visible frame of the old window. Pay attention to the corners: SQUARE SLIDE has square corners. For a cut-out with rounded corners, choose SLIDE.

The size shown is the cut-out size (W × H): the only dimension that matters for fitting. The outer frame extends 3 cm beyond it (overall: W + 3 cm × H + 3 cm) and the inner frame with blind and fly screen (approx. W + 8 cm × H + 8 cm) covers the edges of the cut-out.
Reinforcements vary with year and model: mark the cut-out on your wall and check that no reinforcement, cable or duct crosses it. If in doubt, send us a photo.

I was impressed by the quality and build of the window. In the past i,ve installed dometic windows which are similar but more expensive. These have the advantage of much stronger aluminium construction instead of pu foam/plastic, and they use magentic blind latches which have no moving parts to break or wear out.
