Pack contents

• Sikaflex® 265 (300 ml, black): high-performance polyurethane adhesive specially designed for bonding and sealing glazing in vehicles.
• Sika® Aktivator 205: cleaner and adhesion promoter, ideal for preparing surfaces before applying the adhesive.
• Sika® Primer 507: primer that improves adhesion and ensures long-lasting bonding on difficult materials (glass, plastics, metals).

Instructions for use

1. Clean and prepare smooth surfaces with Aktivator 205, applied with a clean, lint-free non-woven cloth.
2. Apply Primer 507 in a thin coat with a brush as a bonding primer (flash-off time: 3 minutes).
3. Apply Sikaflex 265 to bond and seal your glazing (it adheres to glass without primer).

Sikaflex 265

Sikaflex 265 black 300 ml is a high-performance polyurethane sealant designed for bonding and sealing applications in motorhomes and caravans. Its weather- and UV-resistant formulation ensures reliable, long-lasting adhesion on a variety of surfaces, providing effective protection against water ingress and leaks. Thanks to its soft, workable texture, it is easy to apply and smooth for a clean, professional finish.

Sika Primer 507

SIKA Primer 507 surface preparation

SIKA Primer 507 is a surface preparation product designed to improve the adhesion of adhesives on a wide variety of substrates. To be applied to a clean, dry surface free of dust and grease, it is suitable for metals (vehicle bodywork), glass (windscreens), painted surfaces and plastics.

This new-generation primer replaces SIKA Primer 207 and complies with current standards thanks to a composition containing less than 0.1% diisocyanate monomers, meaning no REACH safety training is required.

SIKA has been established in France since 1932 and offers innovative solutions in many fields: industry, marine, automotive, concrete, roofing, repair, sealing and bonding. With more than 1200 employees, the French subsidiary draws on recognised expertise.

Application:

• Shake the bottle well until you hear the metal ball, then continue shaking for one minute.
• Then apply a thin coat with a brush. A single application is sufficient.
• Recommended temperature: between 15 and 25 °C.
• Average coverage: 50 mL per m².

Sika Aktivator 205

Sika Aktivator-205 is a pre-treatment solution designed to prepare smooth surfaces before bonding or sealing with Sika® products. Using it strengthens adhesion and ensures optimal performance of sealants and adhesives.

Application:

• Apply with a clean, lint-free non-woven cloth.
• Suitable for smooth, non-porous surfaces.
