Description
The VanCool 70L is a two-drawer compressor fridge (68 L usable), convertible to a freezer by changing the thermostat. Powered by 12/24V, it draws 57 W at most and 29 W in normal use.

Two variants: 12/24V only, or supplied with the 230V-12V adapter. In the same footprint (75 × 43 × 54 cm), the VanCool 76L is a door model with a separate freezer; the VanCool 75L DCR, which is lower, is dual zone.

Q: Does the fridge run on 230V?
A: Not directly: it is powered by 12V or 24V. For mains power, choose the variant supplied with the adapter, or add the 230V-12V adapter.
Q: Can it be a fridge and a freezer at the same time?
A: No. It works as a fridge. To use it as a freezer only (down to -18 °C), the thermostat must be changed; we can supply it.
Q: How much does it draw from the battery?
A: 29 W in normal use, 57 W at most, i.e. 4.8 A max at 12V. Actual consumption depends on the outside temperature, ventilation and how often it is opened.
Q: Will the fridge fit in my recess?
A: Check that the recess can take 75 × 43 × 54 cm (H × W × D) and that the drawers can open fully.
Q: Is the fridge approved for use in vehicles?
A: Yes, it has ECE R10 approval (electromagnetic compatibility), and its certificate is accepted throughout Europe.
