For which layout

The GR-532C is the ultimate compact sink. It is designed for projects where every centimeter counts:

• Short vans (L1H1, L1H2) and short vans where a full-size kitchen does not fit
• Minimalist kitchenettes where the sink is used for coffee, light rinsing, and occasional dishwashing
• Van and Motorhome washrooms as a hand-wash basin next to the toilet

The benefit of the tempered glass lid

On a compact size like the GR-532C, the lid is even more useful: closed lid, you gain 300 mm of extra workspace in an area where every centimeter counts. The tempered glass resists everyday shocks, cleans easily with a sponge, and offers a premium visual finish compared to plastic.

The foldable tap (Pack 2)

The stainless steel tap of Pack 2 folds flat onto itself, which allows:

• To close the glass lid without dismantling or bypassing the tap
• To free up height under overhead cabinets during travel
• To avoid shocks and breakage while the vehicle is moving

Important: this tap does not have an integrated electrical switch. It works with a self-priming pressure switch pump like the Vanlife 12V Water Pump — the pump detects the pressure drop as soon as the tap opens and activates automatically, then stops when it closes.

Installation

Trace the cutting circle using the provided template, saw (hole saw at the recommended diameter or jigsaw), place the sink in its slot with a silicone sealant, fix it from underneath, connect the drain to the 25 mm waste pipe leading to your waste water tank, then connect the tap (Pack 2) to the pressure pump and fresh water tank.

Frequently asked questions

Is it enough for doing the dishes? Basin Ø 300 mm × 130 mm — you can rinse plates, cups, cutlery, compact pots. It is not designed to wash a large stockpot. If you cook a lot, consider the rectangular GR-586 instead.

Which pump to use with the Pack 2 tap? A 12V self-priming pressure switch pump — the pump activates when the tap opens and stops when it closes.

Does the glass lid support the weight of a pot? Yes — tempered glass designed for this use. Avoid placing hot objects directly on it without a trivet.

304 stainless steel vs 201? 304 is food-grade stainless steel, much more resistant to corrosion than 201 often used on entry-level sinks.
