The Pundmann Therm 6 L TOWER water heater is a vertical water heater designed to meet the requirements of mobile installations or locations with little space. With its "tower" design (TOWER), it fits easily into a narrow recess, a cupboard or a technical cabinet.

• Off-grid solution: perfect for staying off-grid (wild camping, remote sites) using only the vehicle's battery (do, however, check the condition and capacity of your battery).
• Low consumption: 200 W limits battery discharge and allows longer operation in off-grid mode.

Installation and connections

• Vertical mounting: the water heater is designed to be fixed in an upright position, ensuring optimal operation and preventing air bubbles in the system.
• Water inlets and outlets: usually located on the top or side, they make it easy to connect the cold/hot water circuit. Use fittings matching the diameter recommended by the manufacturer to avoid any leaks or loss of pressure.
• Electrical safety:
  • on the 230 V version, the installation must include a suitable circuit breaker or fuse (500 W) and, ideally, an RCD to protect people;
  • on the 12 V version, check the polarity and fuse rating (200 W) to protect the installation against overcurrent.

• Annual inspection: check the condition of the fittings, heating element and insulation to maintain optimal performance.
• Winterising: if your vehicle is laid up over the winter, disconnect the power supply and drain the tank. You can also rinse it with clean water to prevent prolonged stagnation.
