Description
Our 6-litre Pundmann dual-element water heater is specially designed to provide you with hot water when travelling in your van, motorhome or converted van. It is powered by 230 V and 12 V or 230 V and 24 V, depending on the version.
Operation and compatibility
The 6-litre Pundmann dual-element water heater is designed to offer a flexible hot water solution. This model is ideal for converted vans, motorhomes and other vehicles requiring a self-sufficient system. It can operate on its own or be coupled with an air heating system, such as the Autoterm Air 2D or Autoterm Air 4D models. In this configuration, the water is heated by the hot air circulating through the water heater, thus optimising energy consumption.
With its 230 V / 12 V or 230 V / 24 V power options, this water heater adapts to the various energy sources available in vehicles. It is also compatible with Autoterm Air air heaters. For optimal installation with the Air 2D model, the AT2-0006-AA0 adapter is recommended; for Autoterm Air 2D air heaters, we also recommend the 69934 adapter.

Installation
Bleed the water heater to make sure there is no air left in the circuit. Install the water heater the right way round, with the valve facing down. Also, never switch on your water heater when it is empty!
Installation tip: for optimal use in summer, install a 60 mm Y bypass fitting for the Air 2D model or a 90 mm one for the Air 4D model. This system diverts the hot air outside the vehicle when you do not need to heat the living space.
Important information
- You must have a pump (water pump unit) to use your water heater. If this pump delivers more than 2.3 bar, a pressure reducer will be required.
- Caution: the operating pressure of this model is 2.3 bar or less. Check that your pump is compatible and, if necessary, install a pressure reducer set to 2.3 bar to ensure safe, optimal operation.
