Full description
The SQUARE Top-hung window has square corners and dark-tinted double glazing, and is ECE R43 approved. It opens up to 70° and fits walls from 30 to 55 mm (extendable by using longer screws) thick. Delivered complete: blackout blind, fly screen and aluminium mounting frame included.
Choosing the right size
The selector shows the interior dimension, i.e. the cut-out to make in the wall.
Maximum recommended Cut-out dimensions by van (in mm)
| Van | Side walls | Rear doors | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Max. height | Max. width | Max. height | Max. width | |
| L1H1 | 400 | 700 | 350 | 500 |
| L2H2 | 520 | 970 | 450 or 520* | 500 |
| L3H3 / L4H3 | 550 | 1100 | 450 or 520* | 500 |
* 450 mm on Master, Movano, NV400; 520 mm on Ducato, Jumper, Boxer, Sprinter, Crafter.
These values correspond to what the vehicle allows. The SQUARE Top-hung window is also available in large formats, up to 1570 × 575, for Motorhomes, caravans and truck campers.
Reinforcements vary depending on the year and model: mark the cut-out on your wall and check that no reinforcement, cable or duct crosses it. If in doubt, send us a photo and we will confirm.
The exterior frame extends 3 cm along each axis (overall dimensions: L + 3 cm × H + 3 cm).
💡 Good to know: the interior finishing frame is surface-mounted on the wall. It covers the edges of the cut-out without requiring additional space.
Choosing the right model
Complete version or window only?
- Complete version (this product page): the window supplied with its interior frame, blackout blind and fly screen. Nothing else to add.
- SQUARE Top-hung window - window only: the same window without an interior frame, so you can finish the inside of the cut-out yourself.
Would you prefer clear glazing? See the SQUARE LIGHT (square corners, light tint).

Why choose the SQUARE window?
- Privacy: the dark-tinted glazing (30% light transmission) keeps the interior shielded from prying eyes.
- Double glazing: two UV-resistant acrylic panes that insulate much better than single glazing. It also helps prevent condensation.
- Delivered ready to fit: aluminium counter-frame and screws included.
- Adjustable opening: the window opens outward up to 70° in 3 positions and locks with secure latches.
- Solid construction: aluminium outer frame and counter-frame, for a sturdy, long-lasting assembly.
- Easy fitting: the step-by-step installation tutorial guides you from marking out the cut-out to completing the installation.
- ECE R43 approved: accepted throughout the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is it compatible with curved van walls?
A: Yes. The reinforced aluminium counter-frame adapts equally well to curved walls (vans) and flat walls (Motorhomes, caravans). The slight gap on a curved wall is filled with Sikaflex.
Q: Is it approved for road use?
A: Yes, ECE R43: installation permitted without manufacturer approval in Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Compliant with roadworthiness inspections and VASP requirements.
Q: Can I replace an existing window?
A: Yes, if the existing cut-out matches one of our dimensions. Measure the cut-out in the wall, not the visible frame of the old window. If it is slightly smaller, it can be enlarged with a jigsaw.

I was impressed by the quality and build of the window. In the past i,ve installed dometic windows which are similar but more expensive. These have the advantage of much stronger aluminium construction instead of pu foam/plastic, and they use magentic blind latches which have no moving parts to break or wear out.
