Choosing the right size

The selector shows the interior dimension, i.e. the cut-out to make in the wall.

Maximum recommended Cut-out dimensions by Van (in mm)

* 450 mm on Master, Movano, NV400; 520 mm on Ducato, Jumper, Boxer, Sprinter, Crafter.

Reinforcements vary depending on the year and model: mark the cut-out on your wall and check that no reinforcement, cable or conduit passes through it. If in doubt, send us a photo and we will confirm.

The exterior frame extends 3 cm along each axis (overall dimensions: W + 3 cm × H + 3 cm).

💡 Good to know: the finishing interior frame is installed proud of the wall. It covers the edges of the cut-out without requiring additional space.

The light tint: 70% light transmission, keeping the interior bright while maintaining privacy from outside.

A complete window: blackout blind, fly screen, interior frame and fixings are included. No accessories need to be ordered separately.

• A sturdy structure: a reinforced aluminium interior frame braces it against the wall, whether curved (van) or flat (Motorhome, caravan).
• Easy installation: the step-by-step installation tutorial guides you from marking the cut-out to final tightening. Allow approximately 1 hour.
• Approved and durable: ECE R43 certificate supplied, 2-year warranty and spare parts available for 5 years.

Why choose the SLIDE LIGHT sliding window?

The double glazing: two UV-resistant acrylic panes that provide much better insulation than single glazing. The interior stays cooler in summer, warmer in winter, and condensation is reduced.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Is it compatible with the curved walls of vans?
A: Yes. The reinforced aluminium interior frame adapts equally well to curved walls (vans) and flat walls (Motorhomes, caravans). Any slight gap on a curved wall is filled with Sikaflex.

Q: Is it approved for road use?
A: Yes, ECE R43: installation is authorised without manufacturer approval in Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. It complies with roadworthiness testing and VASP requirements.

Q: Can I replace an existing window?
A: Yes, if the existing cut-out matches one of our dimensions. Measure the cut-out in the wall, not the visible frame of the old window. Pay attention to the corners: SLIDE LIGHT has rounded corners. For a square-cornered cut-out, choose SQUARE SLIDE.
