Sliding window SLIDE 800 x 400 - with window blind and mosquito net

The SLIDE sliding window has rounded corners and dark-tinted glazing, a black aluminium frame and a central lock, and is ECE R43 approved. It fits walls from 30 to 55 mm thick. Delivered complete: blackout blind, fly screen and aluminium mounting frame included.

Choose the right size

This window measures 800 × 400: these are the cut-out dimensions, meaning an opening 800 mm wide by 400 mm high. This is the only measurement that determines compatibility with your vehicle. Other dimensions are available on the SLIDE sliding window product page.

Maximum recommended cut-out dimensions by van (in mm)

* 450 mm on Master, Movano, NV400; 520 mm on Ducato, Jumper, Boxer, Sprinter, Crafter.

These values correspond to what the vehicle allows: the SLIDE is available up to 1000 × 500.

Reinforcements vary according to the year and model: mark out the cut-out on your wall and check that no reinforcement, cable or conduit runs through it. If in doubt, send us a photo and we will confirm.

The outer frame extends 3 cm along each axis (overall dimensions: W + 3 cm × H + 3 cm).

💡 Good to know: the finishing interior frame is mounted on the surface of the wall. It covers the edges of the cut-out without requiring additional space.

What you will need

• 1 tube of Sikaflex 265 per window
• Wooden battens or frame at least 25 mm thick (recommended for panel vans with sheet-metal walls)
• Jigsaw and drill driver

Allow around 1 hour for installation. Plan for two people to position the window in the cut-out and hold it while tightening the screws.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Is it compatible with curved panel van walls?
A: Yes. The reinforced aluminium inner frame adapts equally well to curved walls (panel vans) and flat walls (Motorhomes, caravans). Any slight gap on a curved wall is filled with Sikaflex.

Q: Is it approved for road use?
A: Yes, ECE R43: installation is authorised without manufacturer approval in Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. It complies with roadworthiness inspections and VASP requirements.

Q: Can I replace an existing window?
A: Yes, if the existing cut-out matches one of our dimensions. Measure the cut-out in the wall, not the visible frame of the old window. Pay attention to the corners: the SLIDE has rounded corners. For a square-cornered cut-out, choose the SQUARE SLIDE.
