Sliding window SLIDE 700 x 400 - with window blind and mosquito net

The SLIDE sliding window has rounded corners and dark-tinted glazing, a black aluminium frame and a central lock, and is ECE R43 approved. It fits walls from 30 to 55 mm thick. Delivered complete: blackout blind, fly screen and aluminium mounting frame included.

Choose the right size

This window measures 700 × 400: these are the cut-out dimensions, meaning an opening 700 mm wide by 400 mm high. This is the only measurement that determines compatibility with your vehicle. Other sizes are available on the SLIDE sliding window product page.

Recommended maximum cut-out dimensions by van (in mm)

* 450 mm on Master, Movano, NV400; 520 mm on Ducato, Jumper, Boxer, Sprinter, Crafter.

These values correspond to what the vehicle allows: the SLIDE is available in sizes up to 1000 × 500.

Reinforcements vary depending on the year and model: mark the cut-out on your wall and check that no reinforcement, cable or conduit crosses it. If in doubt, send us a photo and we will confirm.

The outer frame extends 3 cm on each axis (overall dimensions: W + 3 cm × H + 3 cm).

💡 Good to know: the finishing interior frame is mounted proud of the wall. It covers the edges of the cut-out without requiring any additional space.

What you will need

• 1 tube of Sikaflex 265 per window
• Wooden battens or a wooden frame at least 25 mm thick (recommended on a panel van)
• Jigsaw and screwdriver

Allow approximately 1 hour for installation. Plan for two people to position the window in the cut-out and hold it in place while tightening the screws.

Q: Is it compatible with curved panel van walls?
A: Yes. The reinforced aluminium inner frame adapts equally well to curved walls (vans) and flat walls (motorhomes, caravans). Any slight gap on a curved wall is filled with Sikaflex.

Q: Is it approved for road use?
A: Yes, ECE R43: installation is authorised without manufacturer approval in Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. It complies with roadworthiness testing and VASP requirements.

Q: Can I replace an existing window?
A: Yes, if the existing cut-out matches one of our sizes. Measure the cut-out in the wall, not the visible frame of the old window. Pay attention to the corners: the SLIDE has rounded corners. For a square-cornered cut-out, choose the SQUARE SLIDE.
