Description
The standard size, the one almost every conversion starts with. A 40 × 40 cm cut-out is the most common size for campervans: enough to ventilate the living area, illuminate a kitchenette and vent steam from a saucepan, without creating a large opening in the roof. The STYLE LED installs directly on both flat roofs and corrugated sheet metal, without an adaptation frame, and comes in two versions: with or without permanent ventilation.

Why choose the 40 × 40 STYLE LED
The most common campervan cut-out size. This is the standard size: the one found in most conversion layouts, and the one for which accessories and replacement parts are easiest to find later.
Installation without an adaptation frame. On a flat roof or corrugated sheet metal, the rooflight is fixed directly: the corrugations are filled with butyl. Fewer intermediate parts means fewer joints that could start leaking after a few years.
Magnetic blind and fly screen. They can be removed and put back in a single movement, with no rail or runner to clean, and the interior frame stays neat once everything is in place.
Permanent ventilation paves the way for VASP certification. On the version equipped with it, air circulates continuously even when the rooflight is closed: this limits condensation in a vehicle that is slept in, and it is also required for VASP certification. The certificate is supplied.

Which version to choose
- With permanent ventilation — the one to choose for a vehicle approval application in the country concerned, or for any vehicle you regularly sleep in
- Without permanent ventilation - for a vehicle that already has other high-level air inlets
Choosing the right location
The stated size is the cut-out size in the roof. The frames then extend beyond it on both sides: allow up to 14 cm more in width and 12 cm more in height for the interior frame.
Before cutting, check that no roof reinforcement, cable or duct runs through the intended location. Inside, check the dimensions of the interior frame rather than those of the cut-out: it is the cabinet rails and ceiling panels that cause problems, not the sheet metal. Also bear in mind the overall height of the rooflight if you park under a height barrier or in a low garage.
