High-quality stainless steel equipment for boat ventilation, this vent can also be easily installed on the roof of a Motorhome or panel van conversion. Equipped with a glass center, this vent not only ventilates the vehicle but also provides a very welcome light source in dark rooms and spaces!
What is a passive vent for?
Installing a vent in a cabin or bathroom, for example, allows the space to naturally ventilate and maintain healthier air on board your boat. Passive means it has no fan to force ventilation, so it is 100% silent. With its careful construction, this deck vent features a plexiglass lens (glass) in the center to let in some light, which is always pleasant.
How is this vent installed on my boat or van?
It is installed by recess, requiring a drilling diameter of 97 mm; it is important to note that this type of vent can only be installed on a horizontal surface, not on a vertical wall. For fixing, you will need to provide screws separately, selected according to the surface on which you will install it. You should also plan to use sealant for the screw passages. Note that an O-ring is supplied for perfect sealing.
On the interior side, a counter frame is included in the delivery to provide a neat interior finish.
