With your Autoterm forced-air heater and your Pundmann water heater, you can heat both your living space and your water.
The boiler uses the heater’s heat to warm the water. It is also possible to turn on the water heater without turning on the heater.
The parts we recommend for assembling them are listed below.
This water heater is compatible with Autoterm Air 2D and Autoterm Air 4D forced-air heaters.
Important information:
You must have a pump (water group) to use your water heater. If this pump exceeds 2.3 bar, a pressure reducer will be necessary.
Warning: the pressure associated with the water heater is 2.3 bar or less. Therefore, do not forget to check the pump in your circuit and if it is not suitable, feel free to get a pressure reducer and set it to 2.3 bar.
Installation:
Purge the water heater to ensure there is no air left in the circuit. Position the water heater correctly, with the valve facing down. Also, do not start your water heater if it is empty!
The water heater has two heating modes that you can use independently of each other, which makes this a self-contained water heater. The heating element, available in 12, 24, or 230V, can heat your water when your vehicle is running (for 12 V, 24V). The 230V version can heat your water when connected to a campsite hookup, for example. The water heater uses the heater’s heat to warm the water. As you’ve seen, it’s also possible to turn on the water heater without turning on the heater. With Pundmann, enjoy a 12v, 24v, or 230v water heater.
Installation advice:
You can install a Y bypass fitting in 60 for the 2D or 90mm for the 4D to divert hot air from the heater outside the vehicle in summer when you don’t need to heat the cabin.
