The Autoterm Air 2D diesel air heater offers adjustable output from 0.8 to 2 kW, suitable for quickly heating interior volumes of up to 20 m³. It is supplied as a complete kit, in a 12 V or 24 V version.

6. Brushless motor and high-performance combustion chamber

At the heart of the Autoterm Air 2D heater is a brushless motor that drives the fan and feeds air into the combustion chamber.

Installation and maintenance

• Mounting: can be installed flat or at an angle of up to 90° (with the cables facing upwards).
• Connection: can be supplied from the main diesel tank or from an auxiliary tank.
• Maintenance: regularly run the air heater at full power (30 minutes per month) to prevent carbon build-up.
• Approval: to validate your VASP conversion, have the installation inspected by an approved professional if you fitted it yourself, or have it carried out directly by one of our approved installers.

Tips for use at high altitude

Thanks to an internal oxygen sensor, the Autoterm Air 2D heater adjusts its fuel injection to the thinner air in high mountains (up to 4200 m). For greater efficiency:

1. Avoid ducts that are too long or too tightly bent (air inlet/outlet).
2. Maintain good ventilation (intake and exhaust diameters as specified).
3. Use official Autoterm accessories for better performance.
