Why LiFePO4 changes everything
Unlike lead or gel batteries, LiFePO4 maintains a stable output voltage until almost fully discharged: your lighting doesn’t dim, your fridge doesn’t stop, your inverter doesn’t drop out at 60% state of charge. The BMS continuously manages each cell, balances voltages, cuts charging in case of overvoltage or out-of-range temperature, and blocks discharge before any irreversible damage. On the Bluetooth side, the free app displays SOC, voltage, current, temperature, and long-term health — allowing you to properly size your system and detect drift before it becomes a problem.
Which model for which project
The 100Ah is the backup autonomy: LED lighting, phone/laptop charging, water pump, small fridge. Compact size, ideal as a complement or for weekend vans.
The 200Ah is the versatile standard for a semi-permanent vanlife: daily compressor fridge, diesel heater, water pump, lighting, recharges, small inverter. The best balance of capacity/weight/size.
The 314Ah is true long-term autonomy: van in permanent use, high-power inverter, induction, air conditioning. The BMS 200A handles peaks without triggering the protection cutoff.

Frequently asked questions
Really 95% usable discharge? Yes — this is the fundamental difference with lead/gel, where going below 50% drastically reduces lifespan.
What about safety? The BMS automatically cuts off in case of short circuit, overload, deep discharge, or out-of-range temperature. LiFePO4 is one of the most thermally stable lithium chemistries — much more than a classic NMC/NCA.
Hard to install? No. Standard M8/M6 terminals, dimensions close to an equivalent lead battery, no maintenance, no special ventilation.
And in extreme cold? Discharge down to −20 °C. Charging is blocked by the BMS below 0 °C to protect the cells — normal behavior for any LiFePO4. For winter in the mountains, plan an insulated compartment (or the self-heating version).
Real lifespan? Up to 6,000 cycles — more than 16 years at one full cycle per day. For weekend and holiday use, you’re looking at the vehicle’s lifespan.
