Use of the 12/24 V Automatic Pump:

The Europump 12 is primarily designed to manage potable water in various vehicles such as vans and boats, ideal for supplying water points like kitchen taps and showers. It offers a flow rate of 12.5 L/min and a pressure of 2.45 bar, suitable for installations with up to four water distribution points. In a marine context, it can also be used to pump seawater for applications such as deck cleaning, although it is not suitable for transferring liquids other than water.

Installation of this Water Pump in a Boat or Van: 

The electrical installation of the pump is simplified thanks to its automatic system. Simply connect it to your vehicle’s 12 V or 24 V circuit, depending on the model. Use a 10 A fuse for the 12 V model and a 5 A fuse for the 24 V. It is crucial to include a switch to cut off the power supply to prevent the pump from running continuously if the tank is empty.

It is not necessary to install a tap with an integrated switch, allowing you to choose any type of tap, shower, or handheld shower.

For plumbing, the pump comes with four different fittings suitable for various configurations. Choose the fitting that best matches your system, with options such as 1/2 inch threaded connectors or 14 mm outer diameter barbed fittings for flexible hose. Using Teflon tape or hose clamps is recommended to ensure the fittings are watertight.

A filter, supplied with the pump, must be installed upstream to protect the mechanism from impurities. This filter, equipped with an easily cleanable stainless steel mesh, is designed to withstand suction rather than outlet pressure.
