Curved side wall: flat or curved?

A curved van wall (radius ≈ 5,000 mm) leaves about 5 mm at the ends with a flat pane, filled with Sikaflex 265. The CURVE, on the other hand, sits flush. Motorhome, caravan, rear door: flat wall.
